Hello SLCS Elementary Families! We are honoring Black History Month throughout February through our morning announcements, virtual assemblies, and much more. On Wednesday, February 16th, we are going to do read-alouds on the topic of Black History. If you would like to sign up to be a guest reader, you can sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0B4BA5AA28AAFA7-black. We have books here to choose from or you can choose your own. All read alouds will take place at 8:15. We look forward to seeing some of you then!

Hey SLCS Elementary Families, see a newsletter from Mr. Robinson with some updates/reminders about some fun days for students in February and the return of the Parent Principal Roundtable: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wvL81v07N_No0FTlbtlzf5V7mI8PfVmd/view?usp=sharing

Attention SLCS Families, registration for NEW students for the 2022-2023 school year opens tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. This includes siblings! To register, you should go to the School Lane website www.schoollane.org and click on "admissions." Grades 1-12 applications are timestamped and placed on the waitlist. Kindergarten is a lottery. All current students do not need to apply for next year at this time - a re-enrollment form will come out in the spring.

Reminder that today from 4pm-6pm is a vaccine clinic for those interested in it for their 5-11 year old. One of the gym doors in the back parking lot will be propped open for guardians and children to enter.

Reminder that we have the Elementary Campus Open House for prospective families on Saturday, January 15th at 9:00 a.m. If you know of someone interested in having their child attend next year, please have them register for the open house at https://forms.gle/e7wXSKHR7ed3TaGu7. The IB Campus Open House has been postponed until March 22nd.

The vaccine clinic has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 18th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. A guardian must be present with the child. This clinic is completely voluntary and the school is in no way involved with tracking who comes and who does not or who is vaccinated. The clinic is a “walk-in” clinic, meaning that you will not get a set appointment time. This clinic is only for children ages 5-11.

Hey SLCS Families, we are hosting an Open House on Saturday, January 15th at 9 a.m. for any prospective families that are interested in attending SLCS Elementary next year. Please pass the information along. Families can register for the Open House at https://forms.gle/mtoRczd5tUpnY5NX9
