The 5th graders worked hard this morning to make Thanksgiving meals with the food that was generously donated by our own school community. The meals will be given to a local organization that provides food to the elderly in our area, Caring for Friends. Every student had a role to make this service learning experience a success. Can you guess how many meals we made?! Check out this video to find out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kROzLl3O84 and see more photos from the event here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/VUjLC4x7G83JA1pX6

6th grade had a Spanish Speaking Countries & Maps Exhibition yesterday where students shared facts about the country they researched. They also used map skills learned in I&S to create detailed maps. Students then performed a song of all the countries and their capital cities. You can see more photos and and video in this album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/AxZp746tH7FMsdLYA

Students in grades 4-6 attended an assembly this morning with Mr. Sanfrancesco, an educator and technology expert. They discussed the appropriate use of social media, group chats and apps, considering the 3 F's (Friends, Family, & Future) before posting online, and thinking about their digital footprint. The students were engaged and had great questions. Please join us this evening to learn more about these topics from an adult perspective from 6-7pm in the elementary cafeteria.

25 year ago today School Lane Charter School welcomed 450 students in Grades K-6 making it the first charter school in Bucks County and the first suburban K-8 charter school in Pennsylvania. 25 years later, we've grown to a K-12 school with an enrollment of nearly 1400 students across two campuses and have been designated as an IB World School. We are grateful to the thousands of families who have chosen to partner with us to provide an education for your child. We are also grateful to the hundreds of staff members- past and present- who have worked tirelessly to uphold the mission and vision of our school. Finally, we are grateful for our students and alumni who are working every day to make a difference in the world guided by the knowledge, experiences, and values instilled in them during their time as School Lane students... our future is bright because of you!
