This week we had the honor of recognizing 9 graduates who were full Diploma Students from the Class of 2025. We awarded diplomas that were earned as well as certificates from IB. It was a great opportunity to connect with alumni, celebrate their accomplishments, and hear about their first year at college!






We celebrated Culture Day at the IB Campus today! It was such an exciting day that highlighted the diverse backgrounds, traditions, and experiences that make our school so special! We enjoyed a variety of cultural activities, performances, and snacks that showcased cultures from around the world. Students had the opportunity to learn from one another, build connections, and appreciate the importance of inclusivity and international-mindedness. 🏐 Our IB Campus Volleyball Tournament was a huge success! Students in grades 7–12 came together for an evening of teamwork, school spirit, and friendly competition. SGA hosted school-wide events like these help strengthen relationships across grade levels and continue building the positive, connected culture we value at SLCS. Our students in Ms. Paul's 8th grade Spanish classes brought the energy today as they celebrated Cinco de Mayo with music and culture! Students had a blast learning traditional dances and embracing the traditions of the Spanish-speaking world. It was wonderful to see so much joy, participation, and cultural appreciation in action. ¡Olé!










IB Campus Drama put on an incredible performance of Little Shop of Horrors! 🎶 🪴 From the acting and vocals to the costumes, set, props and all the behind-the-scenes work, this performance reflected the dedication and hard work of our students and staff. We are so proud of our students for sharing their talents and for making this production such a success! A huge shout out to the Director, Ms. Morishita, and Assistant Director, Ms. Joseph. Congratulations to all!










Our DP Physics students took learning to new heights on a field trip to iFLY in King of Prussia! Students had the exciting opportunity to apply and test their understanding of physics concepts in a real-world setting. This experience allowed them to not only deepen their knowledge, but also prove their understanding in a completely different way. It was a memorable, educational, and a fun experience for all!




Our 7th grade Student Work Showcase was an inspiring exhibition where student highlighted the accomplishments they are most proud of, and reflected on their academic and personal growth this year. We are so proud of their hard work and grateful to everyone who was able to attend to support and celebrate our students!







Way to go 7th and 8th grade! Through our community engagement efforts, we were able to donate 82 items to Fostering Hope. We collected 25 sets of pajamas and 57 games and art supplies for children at a local foster care organization. Thank you to all who supported this mission!

The SLCS March Madness Basketball Tournament was a huge success! 🏀
Our 7th–12th grade students displayed school spirit, teamwork, and friendly competition. SGA-sponsored, whole-school events like this bring our community together and help build a positive school culture. The IB Campus was buzzing with excitement today as we hosted our annual College & Career Fair! 🎓
Students participated in classroom sessions where guest presenters shared valuable insights about a wide range of college and career pathways. These sessions gave our students a chance to ask questions, explore interests, and begin thinking more deeply about their futures.
Students also had the opportunity to attend the fair and visit tables of their choice, connecting directly with colleges, technical programs, military, and career representatives.
We are proud to provide experiences like this that empower our students to explore their options. We couldn’t do it without the wonderful community members who volunteered their time today. Today students in 9th and 11th grade participated in an engaging presentation celebrating Black History Through Music🥁🎶. With a live performance and interactive opportunities, students were taken on a journey from Africa to the present day, exploring the sounds and stories that have shaped Black music across generations. 🏈 Last night, the IB Campus SGA hosted a Flag Football Tournament for students in grades 7–12. The games were filled with great teamwork and the students demonstrated excellent sportsmanship. It was wonderful to see alumni and families in the stands cheering on the players and supporting the SLCS school community. Building Strong Communicators at the IB Campus! This week, students participated in community meetings focused on the IB Learner Profile trait: Communicator. Together, we explored what it means to be an effective communicator, including the importance of calling in rather than calling out. Through group discussions and real-world scenarios, students practiced problem-solving and respectful dialogue skills to set them up for success in school and beyond. 🌍✨






The high school soccer season started off with a tough game against Kimberton Waldorf School that ended in a tie 2-2 after double overtime. Great effort!

9th Grade Field Trip to the Museum of Illusions in Philadelphia. In preparation for the IB Diploma Program, students are introduced to how easily we can be tricked in our perception of the world through what we take in through our senses. The Museum of Illusions is a physical, visual and sensory experience teaching students about perspective, and how our brain interprets reality.



This week 9th grade leaders are working with 8th grade students with our partners Tree Trails. Students engage in physical activities designed to build character and teamwork. Last week, 9th grade leaders were trained in how to lead these activities.
