School Lane Charter School -

Middle School SGA organized Culture Day today. Students shared their cultures through dance, music, presentations, clothes and food.  School Lane has a uniquely diverse student body.  Students showed today that they are very proud of their heritage.  They encouraged each other to celebrate their identities, sharing how important it is to know who you are and where you come from.  Many, many students came to school in cultural dress.  It was wonderful to see.  Thanks to all the generous donations of desserts from families, the whole student body got to sample foods from around the world.
